I’ve been taking Rexulti 2mg for many, many years—probably close to the 4-5 year mark. My intentions are not to stop either, I just accidentally missed a dose and paid the price in withdrawals. That being said, the longer you’ve taken it, the worse the withdrawals are. I usually take my dose before bed, and thought I did, but the pill fell from the hand without my knowledge so I missed a dose without knowing. I woke up with what I thought was the flu and a stomach bug combined until I noticed the pill on the floor and did some research. I experienced a very runny nose, brain zaps, severe nausea, severe vomiting (I can’t even keep water down), and dizziness. Needless to say, if you’re looking to stop taking Rexulti, do it properly, certainly not cold-turkey, and with a Dr’s knowledge. From personal experience, these withdrawals are not nice at all.
