Anyone had success with back pain management without health insurance?

It sounds like you need an MRI of your entire spine, and physical therapy. An M.D. would recommend physical therapy anyways first. Once you get the exercises, it's more important that you do them on your own, and you might not even need to go that many sessions. Although if you can get it paid for through insurance it's good to go, because it's like a free massage, lol.

1) shop around for an MRI, tell them you will pay cash, so you should get a discount.

2) Can you go to P.T. (physical therapy) in your state without a doctor's referral? Shop around for a good P.T.! They are not all equal! Best if you can do word-of-mouth friend/co-worker who knows a good P.T.
