Anyone having a hard time choosing a class? Post your dilemma and see if the community can help you logic through it.

This question is distracting me more than I'd like for a game that isn't even here yet. Can't even say I've narrowed it down much (Alliance so no shaman I guess..). The situation:

Newly married. Transitioning into a new career. Free time could be limited. Wife not a gamer. Highly competitive person. Not necessarily a min/maxer but solely play for competition. Coming from semi-pro counter strike. Never made it to 60 in vanilla - too young/distracted. Played a rogue/warrior/mage/priest in TBC well enough. Want 1 60 that can fund level 19 twinks/secure arena grand master etc... Want to complete the raids I missed. I think I prefer melee but I also enjoy hunter and mage/priest? Don't think I want to heal. If I roll rogue or warrior do I have to be human? I want to be able to compete in both pvp and pve. Gnomes>humans=dwarves. yikes
