Has anyone here attained B2 level of their target language purely through self studying?

Nope but I will! Main thing I need now is lots of experience and a broader vocabulary and at this point I'm watching things in the target language with target lang subs, sometimes also (not instead) with english subs. I make sure to try and listen before reading, and look up any things I don't fully get.

Before I started watching/reading all norwegian I already watched series either voiced or subtitled. And I watched youtube videos with explanations of rules and groups of words and phrases translated, and got a dictionary to look through whenever and learn new words. The main thing I find helpful is to stay motivated, and make it interesting instead of a chore.

I also talk to myself, repeating things said on tv or explaining what I'm doing to try and get better at pronunciation.
