Anyone here go paddling with their DSLR?

Came here to say exactly this. I love my TG-4. In fact, I decided to stick with that, and get the accessory lenses, rather than get a Sony A7 R II. The shot you can actually get is always better than the shot you wished you could have gotten. A LOT of my photographing time is spent in conditions that would quickly destroy a DSLR.

I'll tie a cord onto my TG-4 and tie that to my belt. Then just stick the TG-4 in the pocket of my REI quick drying pants, and then wade around in the river all day. I get my best shots climbing or wading or swimming to places where no other human ever goes. Though that is usually only 10 or 6.1 meters away from where other people go all the time. It's not like I get up at zero-dark-thirty and hike a hundred miles through the Peruvian jungle or anything.

I also love the "Microscope" macro mode. It allows me to photograph all those tiny little things that most people would just accidentally step on.
