Has anyone noticed that Brofresco's gameplays are set up custom games with bronze-gold players on the other team and plat-diamond players on his team.

Yo, I'm Keyori, I exclusively play custom games and have done for years. I don't know if Brofresco feels the same, but here is my reasonings:

First off, being a "popular" figure in the League community brings you a lot of hate. If I play a normal game and get matched with or against people who just so happen to not like my content, I will get flamed all game. Yeah, I can report them, mute them or turn off all chat, but to be honest that's not good enough for me. I don't wanna have to hear that I should kill myself etc every game just because someone didn't like a fucking video I made. Why do I have to feel shit because someone doesn't like my videos? When did it come to this?

Not only this, but I play strictly to have fun. I don't give a fuck about being ranked, I don't care about looking good, I just want to have fun, and to be honest, playing League "normally" is not fun. This community sucks ass and the game is not fun. But it was now my job, I had to find a way to make it fun for me again.

So, I came up with the idea, fuck it, I have hundreds of thousands of people who would love to play with me, so I started fan games. I'd open a custom, facebook or tweet out the password and just let it fill, and play. It was fun. So fucking fun. A bunch of people just fucking around like back in the day, playing unconventional lanes, stupid off-meta shit and just not taking it seriously. This is what League should be about. This is also how a met a ton of my now very close friends.

As these fan games progressed, I started to realise these fan games are more fun than playing the game normally. So I started recording during them too - and I feel like because I was having fun, my video quality increased.

So now my days are spent giving back to my community. I'll play with them in these customs, whether they join my team or the enemy team (you'd be surprised how many people PREFER playing AGAINST me cos they wanna beat their idol), and then when I need to record my normal recording process is find friends to play, open up a room and either tweet the password, or just invite randomly from a chat room (I just scroll up and down right clicking invite names, if you watch my stream you'd know how I do things). I mean, why bother playing a normal and risk a toxic enemy team, or a tryhard anti-fun game, when I can make someone's day by playing with them?

Now getting to the point of Brofresco, it seems he is playing against only low ranks, and whilst I personally don't intentionally set out to just invite low ranks, the fact is the majority of players on League are silver, so this is obviously reflected in the enemy team if it's only the enemy team that has fans. My friends are mostly gold and above, but as said before, I don't really pay attention to rank, I'm just interested in having fun.

To answer the question "how come you only upload the games versus the lower ranks?!" and the answer is very obvious - games where we're having to tryhard against a team of higher ranks who are putting up a really good fight is just not very fun to watch and it's not what my channel is about - my channel is about fun, and tryharding is not that fun tbh. I also don't upload losses very often because, again, losing is not fun. Yes, it happens, and obviously I don't make it into a video because it's very hard to keep my morale, and the team's, up when we're losing and getting rekt. It's hard to be hype and happy when you're losing - I'm sure everyone can understand this.

Hope this maybe clears stuff up and gives a perspective from a content creator.

tl;dr I hate league, the game is only fun for me when I can play with my own community and just have fun. Majority of league players are silver, so this is reflected in the fan teams. I only upload fun games, and winning is fun - ofc you're more likely to win against lower rank players if you're better than them.
