Anyone look at the recently published Army study on the Iraq War?

Except for the ones that the Guard did better than? Yea that doesn't make sense.

But this is probably the best response Ive seen on this subject, you might want to learn something from this

"I personally don't. But I used to.

I used to hate the National Guard because I saw you as being able to wear the same uniform as me but not suffer the same relentless green weenie deep dicking 24/7. That was young me.

Then older me deployed soon after we captured Saddam. Older me saw all manner of shit that IEDs, rollovers, snipers, etc can do to a person. I saw active duty, reservists, and national guard soldiers getting the shit blown out of them. Blood. Bones. Screaming. Death.

It didn't matter if they were National Guard, Active Duty or Reserves. They were all Americans called forward and ordered to fight for our country. And many of you didn't return home.

So I quit hating and realized that we are all Americans just trying to make some sense of right in our world while finding a way to pay the bills and maybe get some college.

OP, don't let the haters bring you down. Fuck 'em. Do what you go to do in YTC and thanks."
