Anyone go skiing while you're out on the road?

That completely depends on the location that you are in man. Rule of thumb is uber/lyft in ski areas is going to be spotty. They will run during normal business hours and during dinner rush (peak times). More so Friday & Saturday and/or during events and cut off by 2:30 when all the drunks are home.

You MAY be able to find a ride to the ski resort - but getting back is going to be waaay harder. You might have to pay a local cab company extra dough to get you back. I drove cab in a ski town for a season and that was my experience. I've brought people to the airport 4 hours away or their condo 2 hours away because they thought uber would get them back at 2-4 AM after they were doing partying. They shit their pants when I told them it's going to be $200-$450 because we're metered... But they didn't have a choice.

From a fellow shredder... Please purchase your boots from a boot fitter and get the shell properly fitted to your feet. Even if you only plan on going 10 times a year I cannot stress the importance of... yes, you guessed it - properly fitted boots. Not only will you be able to control your skis that much more, but you'll be in control, they won't feel sloppy and now you will be less prone to injury as a result.
