Anyone suffer horrible depression after becoming fans of Jordan Peterson?

I did (and I still struggle sometimes). I found many of Jordan Peterson's ideas profound and moving when I first heard them. But maybe there was a paradoxical reaction in the sense that together with the great light of what I learnt there was also darkness which I hadn't perceived before.

For instance I never saw how feminism is used by some to mask their resentment against men, or understood the extent to which Marxist thinking still shapes today's world (and the dangers of that).

Dostoyevsky wrote: "Pain and suffering are always inevitable for a large intelligence and a deep heart. The really great men must, I think, have great sadness on earth."

Perhaps that might encourage you! Your suffering could be a sign of a great heart, rather than that you have done anything wrong.
