Anyone want to see T.R. Dues POF account?

Me too! Except I also have adult onset epilepsy. I always feel horrible asking for rides. My first seizure, at 19, happened while I was driving. Thankfully, my car and the tree I hit were the the only casualties. I have found a combination of meds that have kept me seizure-free for years; both my neuro and the DMV of my state cleared me to drive years ago, but anytime I've tried to drive since, I just can't. I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I hurt/killed another person.

Although, I try to be fair. I generally use Uber/public transportation to get to places that aren't within walking distance. I only ask for rides from people when they don't live far away from me and are going to the same place I am. I never get upset if someone says no, regardless of the reason. Every single time someone gives me a ride, I also insist on giving them both gas money and some extra money for being awesome. Sometimes people will refuse the money, but even then I'll just throw money at them through the open car door right before closing it and make a mad dash for my front door
