Anyone tried coconut oil?

I said in my post that there isn't much scientific evidence, other than a few studies that suggest people did lose more weight when they ate coconut oil vs other oils while on a diet. That's why I started it, and it does work for weight loss at least for me, I've already lost a few stubborn pounds I couldn't shed through diet and exercise alone. All it does is help curb your appetite so you don't over eat or over indulge, because of the MCT fatty acids. But the ADHD things I just noticed after I started taking it for the other thing, even though I had read ridiculous claims online I honestly wasn't expecting it to do much else.

Also, as far as scientific evidence goes, I'm obviously all for it, but at the same time, my doctors spent years and years doing crazy tests and putting me on ridiculous drugs when all I had was an allergy to dairy. And no matter how many times I straight up asked if it could be caused by food they ALL said (and I had 20 doctors probably) it absolutely couldn't be dairy, even though I was allergic as a kid. Fast forward 7 years, my mom sent me a blog of a girl with similar symptoms who removed dairy, so I gave it a shot and almost completely recovered within 1-2 weeks. So, while I love science and always do my research, if something is virtually harmless compared to the alternative, I like to try it before turning to a drug, etc. But that is just my experience, and I definitely don't agree with the amount of snake-oil salesman crap you see out there today. There is 0% chance coconut oil does even HALF the stuff health blogs like to pretend it does... But still, I can't deny I've unexpectedly noticed difference in my symptoms since starting it a few weeks ago! So all I was asking if other people had noticed the same thing.
