I am the son of the CEO of a Fortune 500 company. I'll share a little about what my life is like. Last year my dad made around $12 million. My family lives in a wealthy suburb full of other rich people, so most of my friend growing up were quite well off. We have three homes, which combined are worth about $15 million. Our primary house in the Midwest, beach house in Florida, and an Upper East Side pied-a-terre. We have four cars for our five family members. Every year, we usually take three or four vacations. My parents love to travel, so at my current age of 18, I have been to 29 countries. We always stay at the nicest hotels and get exclusive private tours (still fly economy though). To be honest, I think that is the one area they splurge, as they are quite reasonable about spending money in other areas.

I'm currently attending college where I am studying economics. No one knows how wealthy I am because I have no friends. Rich people can be socially anxious and depressed as well. I don't have a trust fund, but my allowance is $200 a month. I also have my dad's credit card which I use sometimes for food and other necessities. My siblings use it quite often, but I don't really like to spend money that I feel doesn't really belong to me. On weekends, sometimes I'll fly home for a day just to see my parents and sleep in my bed. My tuition is of course paid for by my parents, who will also cover the cost of Business School. Once I get an MBA, I'll find a job through my dad. Probably something in Investment Banking or Private Equity. Any other more specific questions you have I would be happy to answer.
