Anyone's hours being cut?

Happening in our store, as well; weekly hours being cut and pushing to get work done, so that everyone gets off the clock before the end of their scheduled shifts. The casino is fixed. The $2 raise was a win-win for the company. They were able to pacify the troops, while knowing the schedule modifications would actually be pretty much a payroll wash for them. Straight out of their playbook. It's a shell game. With lower sales, because of fewer store customers, the hour cuts were inevitable. On the other hand, I'm happy to still be employed and to be making nearly the same while working fewer hours. I think the Covid virus will be with us until a vaccine is found. This is our new norm for at least 18 months. Like most of you, I'll keep placing myself at risk, so that my bills can be paid. Stay safe. 4.14.2020
