AOC Called Out the Reality of the Trump Administration's "Concentration Camps": "What do you call building mass camps of people being detained without a trial?"

Congress: Makes a law that allows a president to legally be compassionate or legally be a fascist asshole.

A fascist asshole president makes asshole fascist policies.

Congress: Pikachu face.

I'm not saying Trump doesn't bare the blame for the harm being cause.

I'm just saying that the solution is in Congress' hands. Congress has been delegating all sorts of law-making powers to agencies/the white house for decades. I am not wrong in saying Congress can fix this if they did their fucking job and reigned in the white house.

If someone puts a gun within reach of a child, they could use it to defend themselves or they can use it to hurt themselves. You could say that a parent should choose to give a the kid a choice in how they use it, or you could say a child shouldn't have the opportunity to reach the loaded gun.

You seem to want to blame the child for shooting themselves. I am merely trying to draw attention to the fact that its actually the parent's decision to let the kid get their hands on a gun.

Congress' job is to write the laws. And immigration laws give the POTUS a wide range of possible legal actions. I think Congress need to take the gun away. Don't let the president do what trump is doing. Don't just trust them to not misuse the gun; make sure they don't misuse it.

Why are you even fighting me on this?

I am in no way defending trump's actions on moral grounds. I don't even think there should be legal grounds.

I'm just stating the fact that Congress holds the kill-switch on Trump's actions. Instead of complaining and expecting Trump to do the right thing, we need to see some powers stripped from the White House that Congress has handed over for years.
