AOC's Among Us stream helped raise over $180k for food and housing insecurity

Okay if we both recognize it, then what I have argued is not that controversial. Reducing our support for unethical companies is what I am arguing. I used to be a regular tea drinker for example, before I learned that tea growing has devastated the economic potential of many farmer sin south America (coffee to an even larger extent), So I don't buy tea and coffee anymore. Same goes for major grocery, I try to buy local as much as I can. I don't feel comfortable with my dollar being used to make someone else life worse.

You asked me about a cellphone, well I don't use a cellphone, and I don't eat meat since it is bad for the environment. I don't own or drive a car either. Am I perfect no, but the essence of my argument is that we should try to reduce as much as we can the exploitation individuals partake in, especially those with a lot of privilege and wealth who can afford to not use specific platforms.

This is generally a kind of planetary ethic, a recognition that our actions no matter how small have global impacts, and to reduce as much as we can those impacts.
