AP Scores Matter (in my experience), by a Berkeley and UChicago Admissions Reader

Hello, thank you so much for the insight. I am an international student who came to the states four years ago and I am planning to apply to schools like USC, UPenn, Northwestern or any other schools with a great business or communications program. My AP scores aren’t great at all I’m very worried about my chances.

9th ap hug - 3

10th ap physics 1 -2 AP world - 5 AP psch(self study) + ap scholar

11th ap physics C - 4 ap calc bc 4 apush-4 ap lit -3 (AP scholar with distinction)

12th taking 5 more APs (Comp sci A, stats, Econ, gov, Lang)

My unweighted GPA is a 3.88, weighted being a 4.71 and I am a top 9% student at my small private school. My ACT score is 33(planning to retake) and got 800s in math2, korean and 780 on us history. As a college admissions officer, how would you evaluate my profile?

I am an Asian male with a unique background and have great ECs. Thank you!
