Aphelios and his lack of visual clarity for opponents = not hard to play but to play against | left PBE too early?

I posted this to another comment:

Is it really his fault, though? In my opinion, Riot are the ones responsible. They are the ones who should say no, and tell him that his champions have kits that are too unfair compared to their other champions. They are the ones who should change abilities that are deemed too OP or unfair, yet we still have Yasuo's wind wall which can block entire ults and combos, making his opponents useless.

RIOT are the ones who should be able to notice that Aphelios' weapons first and foremost are too RNG compared to their other champions, and either come up with a solution themselves, or ask CertainlyT to fix it. Secondly they should also notice that his damage values are way too high, and I don't think it's CertainlyT entering those values, is it?

CertainlyT is merely trying to create something new that's fun to play, and he's doing an extremely good job. Riot, however, are not doing a great job at balancing these champs and making sure they work with the rest of their champions. In fact, they suck at it.

Someone said "that's why CertainlyT should design for single player games", and I think that's totally fair. He'd be awesome at designing single player characters, no doubt. Remember though, that a pay check is a pay check, and despite all these complaints and cries, Riot is still hiring this guy.

Do you really think he'll turn down a major source of his income because people are salty? He doesn't give a fuck, and why should he? It's not his job to balance, it's his job to create.

TL:DR Don't blame CertainlyT for doing his job; blame Riot for hiring him over and over again when they lack the ability to balance his champs which may be too advanced for this game.
