Tbh I don’t know the original context of the quote (presuming WWII) but dehumanising German soldiers by calling them fascists not men is kinda gross. Like, most German infantry weren’t themselves necessary Nazis, and by no means did they have control over policy!

War is a fucking brutal game played by politicians and the lives of patriots are the price payed, whether German, Russian or American. Idk, I feel like if this was some chap from idk, name country USA has invaded, bragging about killing ‘American Fascists’ y’all would have a pointedly different reaction.
