Apparently people can’t be awake at 5 AM for a job interview

2 things, first off most front facing employees in retail and food have a uniform that is business casual, ie black cackies and a specific color polo shirt. It's probably not one of these jobs tho, cause they wouldn't be doing a zoom interview at this point.

Second thing: interviews are always business dress unless you're told otherwise, even if all you're applying to be is a frycook at mcdonalds.

Maybe they told her it was a casual interview and she left that detail out for the clickbait, idk.

Also, at this point in the pandemic it would be weird for her to be doing remote interviews for something like retail or restaurant work. It would have to be some kind of office job, because they're the only ones still doing things remote. Offices have the strictest of dress codes, and while I realize they have relaxed day to day dress code for remote work, I can tell you that you're expected to dress up for interviews still.
