Go compare this machines specs with competitors workstations from HP, Dell or Supermicro. You're gonna be just as shocked when you realize they charge the same or more.

Don't get me wrong, this shit is expensive... And for most people's needs well beyond not remotely worth it. Most people don't need more than 128GB of RAM that a 9900K supports. But some professionals do, and thankfully there's a processor that supports that.
