Apple beat Samsung in unit sales with iPhone X during Q4, during the "biggest annual fall in smartphone history"

They are not inherently linked, but if ios and iphone were truly worse, they would not sell like this.

Android and iphone both have their merits for different people, but at the end of the day there are just too many what ifs and problems with android that drive most away.

If android didnt have its glaring issues with security, malware in google play store, location services that cant be turned off, phones that become so inefficient with data caching they become slow and unusable in 6 months, 1 update or less per phone across lifetime, developers that made money, consistent design philosophy, and less fragmentation overall, then i might consider buying an android phone to toy with.

Otherwise I’d prefer not even have one on my WiFi network let alone own one.

Apple delivers something that as of right now cant be replicated, an ecosystem of devices and services that are both personal and private. Can’t beat that.
