Apple fined for slowing down old iphones.

Has nothing to do with the past 4 years. Android was great 5+ years ago too. You just had a bad experience. No idea what devices you were using, but that never happened to me.

Currently using OnePlus, for the first time with this brand and it is by far the best phone I have ever owned. It's not even the fact it didn't slow down at all, it's that it still feels exactly as new as it did when I first got it. A friend if mine has a much older OnePlus model and he has had it for nearly 6 years and he says the same.

I've mostly used Android since it did more for me, but I always swapped around brands as I felt like. I never really fanboyed over anything particular until now. It is so solid, I will stay.

Which is why I don't get any of this to loop back around. I don't get how people can be fans of something that diminishes its quality, intentionally. Whatever the reason may be. That a shitty brand.

It seems to be people like the brand, then find arguments to like said brand instead of the other way around.
