Apple-Google rivalry: Android bot marks its territory in Rawalpindi - The Express Tribune

What is it about my logic that you don't get? I've asked other mods to un-ban me and to make rules that are clear and one of them pretty much just cussed me out. I really want to know what is it that's so difficult to grasp about questioning vague rules subject to the whims of how the MoD is feeling on a certain day.

Modding isn't easy, but it is a responsibility that's taken by few for persona gratification or other reasons. But moderation by its root word is about being neutral and staying on point, and not interjecting personal feelings and personal interpretations of rules. I asked the MoDs to define rules that aren't vague and arent subjected to the MoDs interpretation. My example is very clear on the matter, the post wasn't agenda based, it wasn't editorialized and it wasn't trolling. The mod simply didn't feel the title was worthy. That is a problem, and I'm concerned if you don't think mods judging posts on a criteria that isn't listed in the rules is a problem. How this isn't exactly how everybody in our government does things. Because they don't like someone is asking questions and pointing things, they call it petty and slap false charges to people. The reason why I'm invested in this is because this is a practice reflective in our country, anybody who has a little power over people thinks they can bend the rules because they don't like what is being said.

Rules are great and yes they are there to be followed. If you've read the whole discussion from yesterday I am questioning the legitimacy of accusing people based on personal preference and then approaching the rules and bending them to justify the accusation.

Either impersonal and neutral user generated title are allowed on post or they are not. A third mod told me it was fine to doctor the titles. Well which one is it, either it's fine or it isn't. Tye guy who banned me went on to nitpick little punctuation marks on the title and tried to give me those as reasons once he couldn't prove the editorializing charge.

This post is an example of this practice it was deleted because mods didn't like the title, the content of the submission is the same but now the title is reflective of the mod's approval where as before it wasn't good enough dispite not being against the rules.

Another poster has a website/blog site where he writes well articulated article and does analyses of news. He was threatened with post removal of we posts relevant articles from his site for all to read In this sub. How is this sub not a platform for open discussion and a hub for user generated content. Why are posts being removed that aren't against the rules and why is are user submissions left to the whims of MoDs instead of following well written defined rules.
