Exactly this.

I still wholly believe r/technology and reddit in general has a bias against Apple because they aren't exactly Apple's target market (say what you will, most teenagers and college students don't have the disposable income to justify pruchasing Apple products) and can't see the appeal of Apple to normal regular people and certain other cliques, such as developers or photographers. These people don't have the time to endlessly comment on Internet forums about how "dae Apple sucks". They're too busy doing their jobs.

So you end up with a huge echochamber presumably predominantly composed of whining teenagers complaining about devices they've never owned from a company they know nothing about.
