Apple to replace AT&T in Dow Jones Industrial Average

You are ignoring your contradiction. 2. The information in that graph is true. Prove that it isn't if you don't believe it. The burden of proof lies on you.

It's your point. And if you're using advertisements as evidence then I can do anything but disregard it.

Read what I wrote and explain to me how this is a response. Whatever. No carrier was ready for the mobile internet boom? The boom didn't occur until years after the iPhone's release (certainly not immedietly after its launch like you suggest https://hughescom425.files.wordpress.com/2008/09/mobile-internet-usage-jan08.png drag to resize or shift+drag to move ) despite the fact that AT&T was unable to handle the load from the original iPHone's launch

The rate of growth in mobile internet consumption was not predicted by any company. Even the largest smart phone marker, Blackberry, didn't predict it. I don't know what you're trying to prove here. AT&T had challenges but any carrier would have.

Apple was not a phone manufacture prior to the iPhone so your comment about combining two of its (you used the wrong 'its') product is simply incorrect.

What does this mean? Why is this an important point. Actually Apple did try to make phones, prior to the iPhone, but I don't think cellphones. They may have tried that simultaneously, but i don't know.

The iPhone was innovative for redefining mobile UXes. The integration of a music player was largely inconsequential. You never knew the people of that time.

That's an opinion. UX is an evolving thing, and didn't start with iPhone. The concept UX is very old, and many the principles have to do with the way people think and how they have used things for a long time. All GUI makers use some form of theories of UX. But from stand point of usage, iPhone's biggest innovation, for users/not programmers, was successfully combining a phone with music player, and the consumption of music. In the grand scheme of things, 1 iPhone saved people an immense amount time, and added enjoyment just by doing those things. And no one else in the market could do that.

UX innovations are on going and still going on . Blackberry's phone even to this day is easier use than an iPhone. But not for the internet & aps.

You keep on saying this but you refuse to support it. You're begging the question. I can deny it and I've explained why.

There's nothing to support. It happened. What kind of support are you looking for? Do you deny it happened? Do you deny it helped Apple?

What are you saying? Apple made partnerships with other carriers around the world as it made the AT&T deal. The iPhone was just as much of a success globally as it was in the US at launch. Also, how can you definitively call the iPhone a success in America when you think its global success is debatable? For the last time, America is not Apple's largest iPhone market. Even without America (and by extension AT&T), the iPhone would still be in the hands of hundreds of millions of users.

It wasn't successful everywhere, specifically Japan. Some will debate the success of iPhone around the world, so I didn't want to stand on that. I don't think the iPhone would be as successful if it wasn't released in America. Don't forget the iPhone success laid the ground work for other devices that could be created around the world, i.e. iPads, retina display, etc. From a brand perspective the iPhone was and still is phenomenal.

Nope. How could you have possibly forgotten what this discussion is about? Read my first reply to you. I've never said anything about it being "odd". I replied to your statement about Apple's owing AT&T for its success with its iPhone. Jesus, dude.

Apple owes some of their success to AT&T. How could you ignore that? Partner a good branding partner isn't always easy either. It matters a lot.

And I'm sorry if you feel insulted but you're stating a lot of things that are just not true. Furthermore, of your phrasing makes it really hard for me take you seriously.

You literally insulted me multiple times. It's cool, that's what people do on reddit.

Now another, attempt and devaluing my responses. Such is reddit.
