So in Louisiana, we do have digital licenses and the way it works according to both the law and my friends on the PD, is that they look at your license numbers and give it back. That's it. They're not allowed to swipe out the app or do anything else. My friend said he didn't even touch their phones because he wanted nothing to do with that, so he'd just have them hold it while he looked at the numbers.

Now I do enabled Guided Access in the event that I do have to use my digital license in a traffic stop so you can't swipe out of the app without a passcode, but even I'm not that comfortable with it so I still carry my physical license in my phone wallet lol
