What qualifies you to be an /r/PS4 mod and why do you want to be one?

I'm the head mod over at /r/DriveClub and have been for a while. It's a relatively small sub with about 2k subscribers, but I have gained plenty of mod experience from it. I also made the theme for /r/DriveClub which is a variation of the old Naut theme. I spend plenty of time browsing /r/PS4, and occasionally posting, so I thought I might as well help moderate the place and keep it relatively clean.

Have you read and understand the subreddit rules? What is the url of the subreddit rules page?

There are rules? I mean yes. The rules are found here.

Do you know what a modqueue is?

Yep. It's a subreddit specific list of removed and reported links and comments.

How active are you in /r/PS4 ? What's your /r/PS4 karma count (find it on your user page)?

I browse the the subreddit daily and post once in a while. I tend hang around /new occasionally and spend a good portion of the time looking through game discussion threads. I will admit to reading through the drama that comes with the monthly NPD reports threads. My /r/PS4 karma is 104 link and 763 comment.

Do you mostly browse /r/PS4 on a desktop or mobile?

Most of my redditing is on desktop/laptop, but a good chunk of it is on mobile as well.

Do you use RES?

Yeah. Why wouldn't anyone use it? I have you tagged as "The PS Shill Guy"

What ideas do you have to improve the subreddit that you would be willing to undertake?

The idea of more mods would definitely improve the subreddit and I'd be willing to undertake that. I think a weekly suggestion free-for-all thread like /r/Games has would be great. The community would benefit from a weekly/bi-weekly/monthly competition thread to keep the people involved. The competitions could span many different games or subreddit-centric mini-competitions. The prizes could include special competition wins flair counter or PSN gift cards. Maybe we can reward people with a PSN gift card after they have won a certain amount of competitions as represented by their flair. I could back that financially. Obviously, I'm just spit-balling here and more thought and collaboration would have to go into this.
