Appreciation thread for MrNoSleep

No party in the Netherlands advocates tuition-free university (tuition is capped at $2100 euro per year here), no party advocates a 15 dollar minimum wage (is currently ~11 dollars). There's only one party who's as hard on big banks as Sanders (Socialist Party) and few parties actually make a such a big deal about income inequality. (Which is admittedly a smaller issue than in the US. However, when the leader of Labour party said 'levelling the wealth distribution is a party', all parties even close to the centre-right got furious at him)

When the Socialist Party proposed to get rid of the insurance companies and adopt a single-payer style healthcare system, they got scoffed at. (Most Dutch people are in favour of that though, according to polls. The political establishment however, is not).

Anyways. Within the Netherlands, Bernie Sanders is definitely viewed as left-wing
