Need a place to rant, cant get to the gym as it shut 8 minutes ago

Just had the bit of plastic holding one side of my headphones crack while sat at my desk just listening to music. Conveniently they're about a month out of a 2 year warranty, and I cant email the shop to see if I can get them repaired or anything because they require a customer reference number. Like I was not aware I had one and as it was 2 years ago and I've moved roughly 6 times I no longer have the receipt. This is bollocks, no on a list of high quality things I have spent a lot of money on in the hopes I'd have no issue due to how unlucky I am with consumer products;

Rukka Virium gloves legit the shittest gloves I've owned. Failed 3 times due to poor stitching. Rukka denies this and has blamed the issue on me, and is refusing to allow me to return them if they fail again so I'm in a bit of a dilemma as to if I collect them or not.

Shoei gt-air. Pinlock has failed multiple times, despite the fact i've stored the helmet only inside the house. As recommended, need to return again, but will wait till i can get a photo of the failure. Helmet is also unusable without the pinlock.

Halvarssons Panzar prince jacket, and trousers. Or whatever they're called. Failed while on holiday and leaked during mild rain which shouldn't be happening for a near £800 set of bike gear that wasn't vented. Returned them halvarssons claimed there was no issue. It leaked again, turns out there was originally an issue and halvarssons gave a refund. Which ok not too bad, but the fact that about a day after I returned them the second time they admitted there was an issue means they just lied to me about the issue. So yeah never spending money on halvarssons again.

Panama jack boots, leather is starting to come on stitched and the sole is very nearly worn through after them going through 1/4 the warranty. Which is absolutely abismal for a pair of shoes I bought on the recommendation they last forever.

The only major purchase I've made in the last 4 years Ive had no issues with are a pay of daytona boots. I highly recommend them tbh.

Do I just say fuck it, buy the absolute cheapest shit and just accept I have to replace it every 3 months as I'm starting to think thats the better option despite it being considerably worse for the environment and also costs longer long term?
