April 3rd? Why so late??

I get what you’re saying. But another university just suspended classes and has a 5 day turnaround to go online. However, their spring break is at the end of the month and not in a few days. I don’t understand how this is almost a 3 week transition while other universities are doing it in 1/3 the time.

Most of my homework is online anyway. So they could just flood us with boring online HW until they come up with a plan.

Concerns should be focused on labs and exams. I know ASU and PSU online has lab kits for Engineering degrees that students need to purchase for their labs and we would be behind on converting to something similar at this point. I’m also sure students would hate to spend money on something that they already paid for with going to an actual lab.

All I know is, it’s terrible timing with midterms still happening and spring break around the corner. People are stressing about midterms and now need to worry about people contracting something that could possibly be fatal. But it’s whatever, two more days of school until break right?
