[ARC-V] So its Bonds Beyond Time non-canon now?

These are my thoughts on the matter, and what confuses me about the timelines and such. (Wont comment on Zexal since I know absolutely 0 about it)

Duel Monsters was the first point of starting, right? After that, we get GX. In ARC-V, the Fusion Dimensions seems to heavily be based on the Duel Academy of GX, they have similar uniforms, and "Academia" is also on an Island. We know that Duel Academy is owned by Seto Kaiba, and it's further confirmed that GX is set in the Duel Monsters timeline by the appearance of Yugi at the start of the show.

After that is 5D's, which I haven't actually watched, but from my understanding, it occurs in a setting called New Domino City. Which is geographically located next to Domino City (which is apparently something now called 'Satellite') 5D's also introduces the "Duel Runner" or Card Games on Motorcycles, which was developed by Kaiba Corp. What does that indicate? 5D's is presumably occurring in the same timeline as GX and DM and acts as a linear progessor for the previous series.

However, we're presented with a bit of a problem now. The return of Jack Atlas. If this Jack is the real and true Jack Atlas from 5D's that will be a stark indication that ARC-V is in some capacity related to the previous series'. If Jack comes from the Synchro Dimension, that should technically mean that the Synchro dimension is our "Linear Progessor" dimension, since we've already confirmed that Jack, regardless of Bonds Beyond Time must come from the same universe as Yugi and Jaden.

But that begs the question: what about the fusion dimension? Why is it SO similar to duel academy? Is it just a coincidence, or something else? And what about Standard then? All of the summoning styles exists in standard, but in theory, they should (almost all, besides xyz) occur in the Synchro dimension as well. Since DM (advanced summoning) -> GX (fusion summoning) -> 5D's (Synchro Summoning). Is that why Yuugo is called the pawn of fusion?
