Architect of The DAO leaves Ethereum after nine years, says it has turned into a circus of centralized NFTs, endless Ponzi schemes and illegal securities

Yeah good luck competing with someone who premined a proof of stake coin for free.

If you want Bitcoin to become the world's reserve currency, all nation states will mine it. This is inevitable. They already are. Abu Dhabi and Oman sovereign wealth funds are investing in mining infrastructure to reduce methane emissions. Australia and Ireland are doing the same with landfills. Any country with excess stranded energy, any energy grid looking for a buyer of last resort like Texas, every single energy producer will mine bitcoin. It's just common sense. That doesn't stop you from running your miner. It's just a highly competitive environment. I'll always run my home miner. Anyone with solar roofing would be daft not to run a miner.
