Are you alarmed by the frequency of school shootings here compared to other developed countries?

Is Snopes biased? I'm asking because the article seems fair to me. It explains their methodology and explains Lott's definition of a mass shooting, his methodology, and why it's (in)correct statistically.

I think looking at the deaths caused by mass shootings shows a better picture. The US has mass shootings every year. The European countries in the CPRC's data only had 1-2 years in which mass shootings occurred. These shootings resulted in a lot of deaths, but they seem to be one-off incidents. In the US we have a problem with more people thinking it's okay to shoot others due to their own mental health problems.
