You are all beautiful, no matter what. Don't let your flaws stop you from loving yourself <3

Couldn’t have said it better. I have a buddy who has been in a wheelchair since he was a kid (spina bifida). He’s 22 now and while he has some friends and somewhat of a support system, he has told me people have always treated him differently and it gets to him. On the one hand he will get the typical platitudes about how his wheelchair is cool and it shouldn’t affect him (and he is appreciative of that stuff) - but it has constantly impeded his ability to find a proper job that can accommodate him and dating has been a nightmare and I honestly don’t know what to tell or advise him when he messages me feeling down. I just feel sad for him.
