Are the Anniversary controls clunky for anyone else?

The original Tomb Raider games were all designed for consoles. In Tomb Raider 1-5's cases, PS1. In TR: The Angel of Darkness' case, PS2. It's really evident in how there are missing gameplay elements (Save Crystals in TR1 and 3, vibration in TR3, 4, and 5) and graphical effects (Footprints, reverb, glossy shine in the first 3 games, and AoD on PC is missing a whole host of things, like a standard WASD control as well as a free-moving camera.)

In Legend, Anniversary, and Underworld's cases, Xbox 360. It really wasn't until the recent reboot that Crystal Dynamics started really putting effort into their PC ports. (And what effort indeed, considering how wild everyone went for TressFX back in 2013!)

Controls aren't necessarily a problem in the first six games. Tank controls are awkward these days, but it's all manageable on a keyboard. But things get tricky when you get to Legend, Anniversary, and Underworld. My suggestion to people is always, unless you can't do controllers at all, it's best to try and play those games in specific with a controller.
