Are any first generation immigrants here? Do you feel more "accepted" in the US compared to the other countries you have been to?

Without a doubt, and I doubt my grandfather could have built the life he did in other countries.

He was an immigrant who spoke very little english, but learned some of it. The Basics. My grandmother too. (Both on my mom's side) - he was able to scrape up enough and get some personal sort of old style handshake deals to open up an auto shop, and, I guess the tinkerer in him (and it lives in me, still !) learned how to repair motors, and do basic car repair, and I'm proud to know that when he passed, he held the title to an automotive repair shop, with no debt.

I have had the fortune and opportunity to travel the world. I was born in the US, but feel more welcome here than in other places. I feel like I have a ton of opportunities and I'm very grateful for them.
