Are any of your solo travel experiences as lonely and isolated as mine?

What I took from you post was that you were comparing your travel experiences to others. “I’m still an isolated loser compared to the average solo traveler.” Your words. So, you’re the one that decided to draw comparisons. Since that’s what we’re doing, I thought you should consider the people who aren’t fortunate enough to solo travel or travel at all, for that matter. Every traveler’s experience is unique and I don’t think it’s wise to try to compare one’s to another’s because you feel like you’re somehow “missing out” on something. That’s why I thought some gratitude would be in order.

You’re also upset that at your advanced age of “33” you won’t be able to experience things that others have. I can assure you that if that is the only thing setting you back, you should have a lifetime more of good opportunities to do whatever you would like to do. If depression is the issue, which is very serious, then I think this isn’t the right sub for that & you should seek help.
