Basically Asians were not liked by Americans until the US government started showcasing them. While blacks were still being discriminated against, Asian Americans were being praised. This gave birth to the stereotype that Asian Americans are more successful than African Americans. They were in fact give. Opportunities while blacks had to fight for theirs.

Asians also do not experience the same discrimination as blacks. If an Asian, a white, and a black committed the exact same crime, the blacks person is statistically going to get a longer sentence.

So don’t act like this is an even playing field. The vast majority of problems faced in the black community can be traced to segregation. Asians did not endure the same treatment.
