Are the Blu Ray's region free?

NTSC and PAL were resolution and framerate differences in standard definition content. The only time you have to worry about NTSC or PAL when it comes to BD is if the disc happens to have data stored in standard definition on it (sometimes films will have really old extras that are still in standard definition - that doesn't apply with these TESD discs though). The only carryover to HD from the old NTSC and PAL days are framerate quirks on certain content released in the US or EU/AUS, meaning some shit is 1080i60 (interlaced 60 frames per second) in the US and some is 1080i50 (interlaced 50 FPS) in EU/AUS as opposed to the more universal 1080p24 (progressive 23.976/24 FPS). As far as I know though this only a problem for American players (I think all EU/AUS displays/players can handle 1080i60, but a handful of US players have issues with 1080i50). So in other words you shouldn't have to worry about NTSC or PAL issues.

As far as the Region Coding, I have both BD's and neither list any region on the back so I can't imagine they don't support A/B/C. If they locked it down to A only I imagine they would've put that symbol on the case (as they would’ve had to have coded for it specifically and then sold it internationally knowing any ants in Region B wouldn't have been able to play it back – I can’t see them doing that. Ants in Region C don't buy these discs because those are the Walt's greatest shitholes on the face of the Earth but I bet it supports that as well.) That being said short of actually putting the discs in players of different region and seeing if they play I can't think of any way for a consumer to actually test. You're better off emailing whoever mastered the disc or someone who knows the person that mastered the disc (Harris Khan is probably your best bet.)

I'm also hungry and have had a few beers on an empty stomach so I'm a tiny bit prematurely buzzed and just keep typing so this is basically the equivalent of me going on and on and you're like fuck me who asked this guy for his life story how can I get outta this.
