Why are boomers and their mentality towards life so fucking stupid?

everyone else that didn’t is lazy

This bit is the strangest part... its where wealth is directly linked to the valuation of a person. Not only is it an outright refusal to admit that you can work hard your entire life and get nowhere fast, but its a mentality where poverty is associated with laziness. Seriously, who works harder? The person doing field work for 120 hours a week picking produce, or the super wealthy CEO who delegates all of his work to other people?

Hell, its not even just poverty either, its about Reagan era dog whistles and ideologies with direct racist connotations... nonsense about welfare queens, and welfare fraud, and the more modern "we need to incentivize people back to work" shit as used to guide policy implementation hurts certain demographics a hell of a lot more than others. Lee Atwater did a spiel on that back in the early 80s on how racism was abstracted in rhetoric and policy. (Nixon's War on drugs related stuff standing in as good examples of how this is done...)

Who "earned" and what are completely arbitrary to that its all about who these people see as being part of their "in groups" vs those they decide to be part of some "out group".

As F Wilhoit put it;

"Conservatism consists of exactly one proposition, to wit: There must be in-groups whom the law protects but does not bind, alongside out-groups whom the law binds but does not protect."

Or as it applies to this post "Boomerism consists of..."
