Why are Cubics not played?

I apologize if this goes long, but I will try to explain everything I can to answer your question.

There are a couple problems with the Cubic Archetype, these are the main 3 I want to focus on: 1. Counters are almost always bad 2. You need to see your Cubics in order 3. Dark Side of Dimensions is a movie about DM-era cards, in 2017

So, allow me to elaborate on each of these points

A lot of decks have tried to do something with Counters. If I remember correctly the first was aliens, and they’ve been sub-par basically their entire lifespan. Cubic Counters are probably the best named counters in the game, being that they lock your opponent out of attacks and more importantly effects, but realistically speaking, any card that you’d want to put a counter on is probably going to have a way to stop you from doing that. Let’s say you’re playing Cubic Rebirth, and your opponent attacks you with Satellarknight Deneb
