Are digital nomads happy minimalists?

I'm not a minimalist type person but I go crazy with maximalism as well because at times I feel like it's just TOO. MUCH. STUFF. It's easy to get caught in a loop. I'm pretty sure we all do it.

I think it might be helpful to get back to the root of why you're going to SEA. The idea isn't to replicate what you have at home but try something new, right? Well, it is for a lot of DNs anyway. So. Yes, it'd be nice to have Amazon deliveries available on demand and yoga and a juice bar and whatever other conveniences are available in your home life. But be honest with yourself at how frequently you use those services, why you use them, and if they were to disappear tomorrow, how bad would your life really be? Probably not too terrible.

You can loop infinitely with justifications about why you need something and how often. IMO, it's more helpful to really consider why you're going to your desired location (besides cheaper COL).
