You are doing it right. It is 2016, not 1916.

isn't the opposite of your last statement true as well? What then? Do we need masculinism because there are women who do not respect men as people because they are male? Are we just supposed to be reactionary because everyone has to agree, because you said so?

Part of the problem in the world is that everyone is so freaking worried about what everyone else thinks all of the time. If someone thinks you suck because you're a girl or a guy, just let that person be an asshole. People are smart enough to figure it out and by and large those attitudes present themselves enough that people will naturally disassociate themselves.

Here is a reality that if you hear nothing else, I hope you hear: there are always going to be people in the world that piss you off. There are always going to be people who you do not agree with. It doesn't mean you need to put a picket line together, it means you need to strive to succeed in spite of them. Some people suck at life, and that reality is not going to change. Be the change, don't talk about it on the internet.

Im so tired of the pandering 'look how open minded I am' attitude, let me fight against the world's unfair attitudes. Life isn't fair. You want to be better? Go after it. Get it done, and stop blaming everyone else for your own problems. The more that we harp on how different we are, and shove the difference down people's throats, the quicker we will become separated and divided. Don't believe me? Look at the last 10 years of culture and reevaluate everything.

Most people don't care if you are a guy or a girl. Do a good job. Stop being a victim, and enjoy life because its too short to be pissy about a guy holding a door for you because he's a nice person or one gigantic a-hole who thinks 'its a man's world'. Do you want to work for that guy anyway?

Keep your head down and make this life what you want it to be. There's no need to hide behind facades of feminism and the like.
