are dragonflags a good start for the front lever

you can train dragonflags in multiple ways...you can do actual reps but you can do static holds

you can currently do 5-10 dragonflag reps?
that's really good if so. hows your form

but in terms of static hold: one incredible thing you can do, that has huge carry over to the front lever (as it too is a hold), is rather than raise yourself up and down, lower your body to ~45 degrees and just hold...don't break form. don't break alignment. see how long you can hold. 30seconds will feel extremely challenging at first...then maybe try a min. of course the closer your body is to the ground (without touching) the harder...but Id say the sweetspot is 30-45degrees.

definitely keep doing pullups. id suggest lsit pullups. strongly recommend. conditioning your body to engage your core while in a hanging position is a must. even better, when you're not only hanging but also pulling. lsit pullups will really increase your overall strength. but absolutely add in dragonflag training. can be a combination of sets that are strictly static holds, and other sets that involve you doing reps
