We are Elijah Wood and Samuel Barnett from the BBC America series Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency. Ask Us Anything.

ok, this one is a bit of a walk, but that seem appropriate enough considering the source material. I first saw the BBC adaptation of Hitchhiker's guide when I was 8, and instantly became a massive fan of the series. I read the books up and down and all around, but never tried out anything in the oeuvre for many years. That is until I first Read Long Dark Tea Time of the Soul when I was 24. After reading it, I was told by a friend that I should check out Discworld, written of course, by Terry Pratchett. Over the course of the next 2 years, I read every single Discworld book, in order of publication, and thirsted for more. I decided to check out Good Omens by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman. I then fell down a Gaiman hole of Sandman, Coraline, Stardust, and American Gods. Currently, one of the shows I am most looking forward to in 2017 is the TV adaptation of American Gods with show runner Brian Fuller, best known by me for his works in Hannibal and Pushing Daisies. This of course leads me to my question:

Can you pinpoint a single work of art or literature which has led you through a labyrinthine series of related works, every step of which you almost obsessively enjoyed?
