Hi FB community, Thank you for your continued patience and support. As promised we’d like to update you on our findings from our ongoing investigation of two reported lithium battery issues. According to both reports, the battery packs released smoke, but the boards are equipped with fire-retardant enclosures and there was no report of flame or fire, bodily injury, or property damage. Our team was promptly able to extract data from the onboard telemetry logs and is being used as part of our investigation. We are also working with with a third-party lab to conduct thorough forensic analysis of the recovered battery. Our investigation is ongoing and we are working diligently to understand and address any issues. If you have a 2nd generation board, your original 30-day return policy and 1-year extended warranty will start once we have cleared everyone to ride again. If you are awaiting shipment of a 2nd generation board, we are working on a timeline to resume shipments. In the meantime, if you wish to cancel your order for a full refund, you may do so at any time and we will hold your place in the queue.
