It's mostly about planting the right seeds, and educating people to the level where they can do everything for themselves.

Mostly because I'm only 'smart' enough to be an index to what is known and possible, now, and reinvent some 'key' technologies, but not experienced with every little detail. I'd certainly know where to INVEST effort, though.

And of course, bankrolling my future as 'Emperor of the Moon'. More like an 'Emperor Norton' kind of 'emperor', but I'd like to make sure there's expansion into space, right away, when civilization has some breathing room. I'd be insanely wealthy, behind the scenes, so I could directly bankroll it.

Sure would be nice to have satellite imagery of the world and instant telecommunications and machine transportation when almost everyone else doesn't even have a post office.
