I totally agree and don’t understand all the downvotes these comments are getting. It is 100% someone’s right to throw a party for whatever damn reason they want to, nobody is trying to take that away... it’s my right to think it is 100% silly to throw a party to “reveal” the sex of your baby. Totally agree with the other commenter who said nobody cares what the sex is. It’s a win/win situation, everyone is going to be just as happy either way... I get very excited to find out what my friends/family are having but it’s more like, I’d love for them to call and tell me or tell me in person. That to me is a way more special moment, so it’s my personal opinion that “gender reveals” are just really silly.
