Are "the hoods" really that dangerous?

Nah, it aint true. If you're not in the life of gangs and crime, and you're not walkin around with expensive shit looking like a mark, nobody's going to bother you anywhere. Worst that happens to most people is their car might get robbed if they leave some shit in there parked on the street.

I lived in some of the most 'dangerous' areas of Philly and LA with a lot of gangs and crime, and I'm just a corny ass white dude, I've never felt threatened or even hostility toward me. Dudes with MS-13 face tats wave 'good morning!' while they're walking their dogs just like anyone else unless you owe them money or roll with those kinda people.

honestly i'd rather live back in the hood than the suburbs where I live now. I have better interactions with gangbangers and bums than Karens lol
