Why are intel-based laptops more expensive than ryzen-based laptops when they have worse performance?

I have both one intel and one amd. The difference you feel is when you stress them. Considering laptop they are gone heat up no bigger deal as its laptop. But when you look at task manager's graph of performance, there you find that both are giving 100%. What i see in amd chip is there are random dips where performance goes 70% and goes back to 100%. I think this is probably because amd is going with chiplet architecture (or like something this) where all cores are made separately and soldered on die. Another thing to note is my intel laptop has intel network adapter and amd one has realtek. But does it real a big concern that your cpu dips sometimes,(there will be performance difference, so choose according to your need and what budget you have) i think my work is getting done whether its amd or Intel.
